Level 2 meeting_Wow

I just viewed the second level meeting, Wow, I now know where to look as you say for the numbers, as they are the essence of any business. I work in Research and Development so our bottom line affects the business as an overhead function but I can now see that I need to look at all the numbers; my overhead costs, personnel costs and just the daily costs of doing business and running my new projects to see what I can do better and open my management’s eyes as to what we can do to improve the numbers next year. As a new project manager I am just beginning to see how everything comes together, money wise and I after seeing this level two meeting I know I can make a big difference in my own work. Thanks for the 10 second miracle tool, I look forward to crunching numbers in the next month. I think I will see the big picture. It will be real important as I have heard rumors that my company is looking to reduce some staff and from what I see it’s not the working staff that needs to be let go but the upper management that has no vision about where the company should be going, let alone about Value Creation. I think I can make a difference, Cannot wait till the next level. Will keep you posted on my success. I have several ideas’about my Friday Night Essence but not there yet, helping others in my work is very satisfying right now but I look forward to finding my own essence.
