I wanted to share my thoughts on the 2nd NT meeting

Hello, I wanted to share my thoughts on the 2nd NT meeting. The second meeting in my view had 2 parts. The first part was that people should wake up from the robotic lifestyle they are leading (Will this meeting accomplish that en mass, I doubt it). That message is nothing secret, it is essentially the same concept as Plato’s “Cave”. In philosophy classes I was taught that this concept meant that if a person is conditioned enough, he will start to imagine things differently from what they really are. This is not the correct interpretation, the real meaning of is that we all live in a “cave”, everything we see in the world are only shadows of how things really are. I quote Plato: “Only people who have climbed out of the cave and cast their eyes on a vision of goodness are fit to rule. The enlightened men of society must be forced from their divine contemplations and compelled to run the city according to their lofty insights. Thus is born the idea of the “philosopher-king”, the wise person who accepts the power thrust upon him by the people who are wise enough to choose a good master.” This is the main thesis of Plato’s Republic, that the most wisdom the masses can muster is the wise choice of a ruler. The waking up part I can really relate to, I experienced exactly what you were talking about 6 years ago (That is what lead me to the books I read). Will the majority of NT members really understand this point? I doubt it. The second part was to start forming a 3rd party in this country. This seems to be the goal of recruiting the mass of seemingly useless people. This I believe is a purpose for the outer shell members; forming a new political party. The inner circle minority will become the leaders (perhaps not public ones). Let me know what do you think about my interpretations. Best Regards, Mark
