FNE and TSM in the workplace

I work for a highly successful, major US company where a running joke in my department goes like this….”I have this really awesome idea that will save us tons of money!” And as you proceed to describe the details of your idea / TSM, someone else will say “There’s lots of corners in the room…pick one to go stand in” (because the company will never go for your idea because it would work!!). Unfortunately, this happens quite frequently..almost on a daily basis. However, they somehow make money in spite of themselves.

So finding it difficult to discover my FNE at my current job, I started my own business. It’s currently not quite up and running 100%, but I am starting to see some income from it. I’m excited about it….having heart palpitations even, but in some ways that’s nerves about the investment to get the business up and running.
