I do with concepts what the dishwasher did with numbers. He added smaller numbers to produce larger numbers. I fit lesser concepts (pieces) together to reveal greater concepts. Suppose the picture puzzle is that of a beautiful three-masted sailing ship on the high seas. All pieces of the puzzle are there except the flag the ship is flying. That flag could be of a legitimate maritime power, a friendly power, an enemy power, a white flag of truce, or the Jolly Roger. Or does it make no difference what flag the ship is flying? That flag reveals the essence of the ship’s nature. All this suddenly hit me as I thought about what Mark Hamilton was saying, just as similar conceptual integrations *hit* me suddenly as I read Neo-Tech literature. Such conceptional integrations come naturally to me. However, I shall in the meantime also practice a similar integration of numbers, something which admittedly does not come naturally to me, in order to expand my integrative capacity as much as (at present) I can. Vive le dix-seconde miracle! (fractured French)
