Ten Minute Miracle

After hearing Mark’s description of the Ten Minute Miracle, something he had *said* in print quickly came together with something I’d been thinking about. The printed comment elsewhere was that *truth* is limited and static. It then occurred to me that communicating *essence* can sometimes be more effective than trying to communicate *truth.* Example: a published American haiku of mine — “Singing, shivering, / on the shining ice — / a chickadee.” Haiku are *essence* poems which offer the essence of an emotional experience on a sensory level. The essences of the bird’s experience and the perceiver’s are actual for the bird and honestly emotional (on a sensory level) for the perceiver. For me the connection came quickly.
