Session 2

In Session 2, the 10-second miracle was discussed in terms of using a tool that involves numbers. Mr. Hamilton used a very good illustration from work where he looked at the numbers of customers, number eating and parking spaces. If I understand correctly, the number of customers was limited by the number of parking spaces. The 10-second miracle came about in terms of where additional parking spaces could be put and accessed. I hope I got this. We have been challenged to look at work through the numbers. This past year I worked in process improvement through assigning number values. I was able to come up with some improvements. However, I may be laid-off next week, so not sure where to apply looking at the numbers yet. I was able to get further into looking at new business opportunities and now am not sure where to apply this new business as it appears not to be working at my current work company. I am interest in the next lesson. I enjoy and would like to do a lot of things to create values. What would be advised at this time? Thank you.
