The TSM is a method of reasoning first named abduction by the American philosopher Charles Peirce. He not only named it, he showed its role in all thinking and especially in scientific thought. He also discussed its detailed structure and the detailed steps of how to do it. Wouldn’t it be helpful to bring some of this into your lectures?
